The power of regeneration is important right now.
There’s a capacity to access these qualities within us and use them in specific areas of our lives. Other people are involved in this process. Have to be. It’s never just us. Stimulus always involves an other.
Maybe it’s in the way we get stung, or the way we sting when we feel pressured.
What’s the purpose behind the sting? Something going on there, that speaks to narratives beyond how we want to feel, & toward what we need to generate, for ourselves.
What are we doing behind the scenes when we’re trying to feel a certain way? What’s going on there?
What are we doing to maintain a certain feeling, and submerge another?
A sting can be a stimulus for greater awareness of our need to regenerate – to develop a dormant aspect of ourselves which can change our lives.
Unless we refuse to see that the ouch has a purpose beyond blame.
Time is a key element here. There’s a lesson about time and needing to utilize it in some way – to build some sort of bridge for ourselves, which can in turn, help others.
“Wait – let me think.”
OK – but for how long? Are you waiting because you want to feel in control – dominate another? Or is this a practical need?
How are you Using time?
Changing our relationship with time demands we let go. Hard to do when you don’t like being demanded. But the turning of the wheel will pressure you to understand what resisting is doing to you, deep down.
It’s not the clock’s existence – it’s the way you glitch when the element of time shows it’s face.
Why do you feel so rushed? Whose lording time over you? (PS – it’s you. But also, not you.)
How do you use time? Do you hoard it – do you take more than you need?
Do keep asking for more when you’ve got plenty already?
Are you aware of how you use time, yet still blame it for your suffering?
I don’t know the answer. But it could be a bit of everything.
And it’s not meant to be balanced, it’s meant to give birth to change.
Compulsions are key here.
Expose the compulsion – what needs to be detoxed – and learn something about your relationship to time.
“You need to do this.” OK, but why?
Slow down in order to understand what you need. Be with that need.
But also, speed up in some way. Especially if you’re using time as a way to CONTROL.
This is vague territory. At least, some of it is. You have to be a detective. Keep looking. Not give up & play victim to the struggle.
But you also need to tend to basic needs & your second chakra. There’s a reason there are issues there.
It’s about your lower abdomen to navel, sexual organs, large intestine, lower vertebrae, pelvis, appendix, bladder, hip area.*
Which is linked to fear of loss of control, through events such as addiction, sexual abuse, betrayal, impotence, financial loss, or abandonment by partners or colleagues, ability to take risks, personal identity, blame, guilt, money, sex, power, control, creativity, ethics, honor in relationships, decision-making ability, power to rebel.**
Underneath the surface, things are pretty dicey.
How long can you maintain fake harmony? That might have gone splat by now.
If you need help, you have to ask. But you also have to be honest about what you do when you’re afraid to ask for help. What THAT turns into. How that is a control mechanism. A compulsion to abuse time, and other people’s time.
Why you won’t ask for someone else’s time? Or give it?
Why won’t you give your time to something? Why are you withholding, from yourself?
It’s all about time.
Maybe you just need more of it. To decide. That’s legitimate. There’s a huge story there.
Feeling rushed is always an issue in this realm. But notice that issues around feeling rushed can turn into self-anointed depletion tactics.
final thoughts:
The wheel is always turning & balance is persistently something you set an intention to cultivate.
Balance the obsessive nature. Take note of it. What it can do and what it can take away.
Focus on being a detective regarding what helps you regenerate something that needs to come back to life.
What heals those 2nd chakra areas?
** These lists are from Caroline Myss’s website. If you haven’t heard of her book, Anatomy of the Spirit, I recommend checking out the 2nd chakra chapter over the next month. If you have heard of it, I recommend giving it another read. We need to support this area of our bodies & lives right now – to tend to these basic generative qualities.
