There’s much more to what we’re witnessing & experiencing – more to what we’re exclaiming about, scratching our heads over, angry and devastated, screaming on the inside & outside about – than we realize.
If we crack open this geode, we’re going to see a lot of stuff & things that belong to us, staring right back at us.
There’s a lot of potential in what we will find. That’s nice speak for it’s not going to look the way we want it to; it’s not going to look pretty – Yet. And to be honest, it may never be either of those things to some of the humans in our lives.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t value in what there is to discover right now.
Whatever you find within, right now, has meaning. Because it comes from the centre of you.
Whatever the outside world is inspiring you to witness within yourself? It’s solid Gold.
So I say to you, “You – do you see how this whole thing is about more than the obvious? More than the noise and the spinnery & the mess? Or, at the very least, are you willing to be open to how it’s about more than the obvious?”
This is about cracking open your own vaults, WHILE the world’s vaults are cracked open at the same time.
If we don’t look at what we’ve been hiding from within ourselves, we will invite more of the same experiences into our lives.
That’s how this being human thing works. Our refusal to discover intimate truths about ourselves as human beings, is a recipe for more of the same to come our way in the future.
A short spin through human history (whose story is it really? who wrote it?) will help us see there has been a lot of repetition. Not much of it good. Or productive. Or life giving.
So it’s the only way through, to understand what lives within us – for example, the anger and rage of being denied love – and realize it needs to be seen in whatever form it’s in before it can be polished up.
Otherwise, distortions of our potential will just keep replicating and causing us problems.
Straight up: It’s time to look at the unconscious aspects of our selves that have been persuading us to click add to cart like a slot machine at a smoke filled casino that gives us free drinks unfit for human consumption, so long as we keep dumping our resources into it.
We have to look at what we’ve got within us that this experience has brought to the surface.
It’s an opportunity to discover the merit in understanding that what lives within us is a component of being human. And to cast away any of it is arrogant. And anti-life.
We need to utilize what we have within us for something greater than what we’ve been using it for.
We need to sharpen the edges of the parts that have a human life affirming purpose in the world, and soften the edges of the parts of us that do the opposite.
We are arrogant. But not in the way you’d think.
We are arrogant in the ways we deny what feels of value, to us.
We get life affirming hits about what we feel called to offer the world. And if it’s not tied to a paper based substance that can be printed off at the leisure of control systems, we say,
“That’s not practical; There’s no use in doing that.”
But what is it to truly be practical?
If there were, lets say, an agenda that didn’t want a lot of life force energy on the planet, that declared that creative self expression was the enemy, one could argue that creatively expressing what has value, to you, might be a good antidote for such dark forces that want to extinguish the information inherent in light.
How you gonna help the world if you can’t honor the potentiality of your creative contributions to the world?
I offer something that has meaning to me, to the world. And I find that other people who sense it has meaning, are drawn to it, too. Then they feel inspired to share what has meaning to them.
I’m turning on a lamp for others when I’m allowing myself to do what I feel called towards.
Stop fighting with yourself.
You don’t have the energy for that anymore.
Understand that there is a creative channel through all of us, that is begging for us to listen to it.
And understand that there are energies infiltrated on this planet that make it their full time job to convince you to devalue your creative contributions to the world.
Because what you do, or don’t do, affects all human life.
So make the earrings. Bake the bread. Teach belly dancing. Repair the truck. Sing. Start writing what you feel called to write. Take beautiful images of yourself – your real self. And share them. Cuz damn it do we need the beauty.
Stop questioning the value in what you love to do and just do it.
