Jupiter expands & inflates. If things are going great, it can make things ever better. If things are off, imbalanced, struggling, it can make them worse, all in the name of a journey you need to take, to discover yourself & life – what you have faith in – with greater understanding.
The key to working with Jupiter energy is to not have expectations – to not try to micromanage the journey. We ruin things when we overindulge in our cravings for expansiveness, through excessive detail adherence. Focus on how you’d like to feel, in the body. And let the adventure unfold where it may. Trust in that process.
Taurus is about embodiment – feeling into the bodily experience in human form. Medical astrology wise, Taurus represents the mouth, neck & throat. Health wise, we may see an increase in attention to these areas. Advisable to consider the messaging correlated to these areas of the body. LearningGNM is a great resource. You can also try Louise Hay’s offerings – spiritual teachings behind illness in the body is a very Jupiterian process. What if what we consider an illness is actually the body healing itself? A more expansive view of life, our human experiences, and the role the body has in teaching us about life.
Taurus is one of the most stubborn and loving signs. It wants to take its time, which is really challenging in a world conditioned to think everything needed to happen yesterday. This sign can also be the most violent if it doesn’t feel loved. It’s slow to anger, but once it blows, advisable to back away. Taurus struggles when outside forces attempt to tell it what has value – particularly if said thing doesn’t actually have value. Taurus takes the time to figure out if things do have value, but it also has a penchant for saying No immediately to suggestions. This can be very difficult when in relationship, but its important to understand that our world has bred this knee jerk reaction. No one gives anyone time to consider what matters or has value. The expectation is to hurry up with everything. Going slow is not valued, much to the detriment of humanity. Slowing down to consider is truly a super power these days. And so Taurus needs to learn how to do something very difficult: to say, “give me some time to think about it first” instead of immediately saying no. And they need to learn how to embody how it feels to not have their request honoured – to be able to sit with how it feels for someone to attempt to pressure them, without blowing their stack. Right now we are all being given a chance to expand our ability to embody our anger, over not being given the opportunity to consider what has value to us, without harming others or being a bull in a china shop.
Jupiter can make whatever it touches bigger. So this energetic shift may increase or exaggerate any areas associated with Taurus energy. Those include patience, practicalities of life, groundedness, emphasis on what is “mine”, personal resources, stubbornness, what you value, love, how we embody our life experiences, the capacity to enjoy the physical realm of life, slowing down to consider what has value, self-indulgence, possessiveness, how you resource yourself in the world (ie you need some stuff, like food, shelter & self esteem.)
From a financial astrology perspective, Jupiter can expand industries. Supply & Demand says if there were a lot of cookies – more supply than demand – the price of the cookies would go down. But if there were a shortage of cookies, the price would ramp up substantially. Be mindful of the capacity for things to get exaggerated, overdone, and how that can manifest in specific industries. IE the industry can’t sustain the expansion and it folds in on itself. It blows up. Consider this analogy on all of the following areas linked to Taurus:
All financial matters and affairs, banks, bankers, investments, savings & loans, securities, savings, money, CD (Certificate of Deposit), coins, currency, money, personal debts, income, wealth, stockbroker, leather goods and manufacturers, confections, candy and sweet manufacturers and distributors, food, baked potato, satisfying, starchy food.
