Hi, I’m Andrea, a writer, poet, self-compassion advocate, intuitive physical empath, writing consultant & fur mom who is here to use my wellness journey to help others.
Must Love Crows is a wellness resource – the place where I share insights from the journey I’ve been on.
I’ve transformed myself from a hyper anxious, depressed pessimist addicted to all sorts of stuff and things (learn more about my story here) to a human being who values and appreciates what she brings to the table.
Through the power of storytelling, I share what helped me heal from the trauma-induced self-hatred that convinced me to deny my gifts and call a cheap bottle of cab sauvignon and a pack of cigarettes my BFFs for so many years.
I’ve learned a lot and I’m still learning. I’ll never be done because I’m human and that’s what we’re here to do.
I use my platform to share resources that have helped me heal, stories and real-life insights that inspire you to invite self-compassion to the table at every single meal.
Read: I am honest. My insights aren’t always sunshiney because that’s not the reality of life. The more we deny the existence of our pain, the longer and more deeply we struggle. We need to be honest about how we feel inside in order to heal.
I refer to my blog as a wellness resource because it’s super-duper personal development themed.
I’m personal development obsessed. Think of a Phoenix rising from the ashes and multiply that by 52 weeks in a year. That’s me to a T!
The work I’ve put into Must Love Crows has led to some cool stuff. I’ve been featured on the Huffington Post, on a bunch of wellness websites, in magazines and even a book. 💗
My writing consulting business was born of it too, as was my freshly established acting and modelling career.
One of my favourite parts of writing is connecting with people from all over the world.
I love sharing stuff on social that makes people raise a finger to their chin or even scratch their heads (READ: Think, contemplate, question the norm) and connecting with my readers over email which I happen to be absolute rubbish at keeping up with throughout 2019, but whaddya do – Life gets busy!
When I do send out content I make sure it’s got some depth to it – it’s not being sent for the sole purpose of just sending something out.
I also try to make sure my emails are entertaining and impactful. Life can get heavy and we need to laugh and feel like we can relate to one another, to find some balance.
So yes, my emails are always emotional growth and self-compassion themed. ‘Cause that stuff is top-of-the-list important.
Right now it’s Therapist Recommended Books To Help You Heal.
